Sure grading companies would be happy to enter the hobby. They are the ones who stand to profit from a venture of slabbing.
For the collector, at least in chips, the thought of a history laden chip sealed behind plastic would not be very acceptable.
Also granding and slabbing only add to the cost of the chip.
Leave well enough alone, this is a fun HOBBY. Coins may belong in a slab because handling them can decrease the value,
but chips are meant to be handled and appreciated for what they are not just for what can be seen in a capsule.
