I mailed that chip. If I am sending a single chip (of little value), I will put it in a #000 padded envelope (the smallest). I don't know why I didn't on the chip I sent to you, but I always pay the 21¢ additional "non-machinable surcharge". This is supposed to keep the envelope from running through the automatic sorters and possibly damaged the chips.
Unfortunately, shipping a chip this way will not allow a tracking number, and I would never use it to ship a chip I could not replace. If I wanted to add a tracking #, it would bump it up to $2.61 to $3 from here.
My way to ship might not be the best for a business.
