~~~ have been hashed over, openly, on this message board in the past and it always seems that our BOD and most posters discount the idea of an ED each and every time.

In my opinion; now that we have several members planning to run for office, perhaps it would be a good idea for each and every one of them to voice their opinion on the subject of an ED...

No better time than now, I would think.

Regarding hobby interest; I think most who have been active in the past 25-30 years have agreed there are thousands of casual collectors worldwide... which is way more than we knew in the past. I have never seen in the past what new finds turn up on such sites as Delcampe and others or the depth of historical and educational posts here such as those making correcections pertaining to what was once thought to be accurate information such as the activity we see regarding California, just to mention one area... and the thousands of additions and corrections in TCR and TGT... which shows me we are not asleep or have our head in the ground as a group.
