Most computers do not have a wireless setting it's your

router

that has wireless connection to the internet. Hopefully that will be some help.

Unless you are using a laptop, your desktop is more than likely to be hard wired to the router. Anything else, phone, laptop, tablet... Echo = Require that you join a network. Meaning your home WiFi network, so you'll need to find that, connect and enter the password. From there Echo should be working.
