chips when removing from soft vinyl flips...

Put flips or pocket sheets into freezer for about 10 minutes. Then, carefully slip a thin, long bladed instrument between plastic and chip, on both sides.

This will not be 100% damage free, but I have found it to be a High degree of damage free.
