I don't know if it is true or not but I have heard several times that the infrastructure is not set up for having all electric cars. If everyone's car was electric and they plugged them in at night it would take down the whole electrical system due to overload. These things suck a lot of juice. Plus how many people want to limit their travel to a max of 200 miles a day? Not so good for that trip to Disney. They need to develop fuel cell cars using hydrogen. No emissions at all and you could use nuclear power to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. All the cars could run as much as they wanted with no effect on the environment.
