For those of you that don't know Steve, he is one of the founders of the Slabfree movement. he offered to give the antislabbers 1/2 of his table at Rene's PS show. Fortunetly we were able to raise the money from donations on this BB, to get our own. I urge obsolete collectors to buy from Steve and he has very fair prices.

At this time, I do not agree with Steves decision. Unlike some of you, I do respect his right to make it.

"I don't think that there will be any slabbed chips at the convention for you to worry about."
Bill you should read Jim Reilleys post on the club board about PCU tooling up to slab chips. They are the NO 1 slabbers in the country. The board vote gave them the green light. Jim R is in a position to know what he is talking about.

"I think the only honorable thing to do would be to resign from the club."
I am leaning toward agreeing with Rich. Anyone can belong to the Slabfree Chapter and still have most of the benefits of membership. I am weighing this option at this time.

"Although not as bad, I also think Gene and Jim's decisions are terrible and should be rethought."
I can not speak for Jim.
It came down to princibles for me. Everyone has to face their own demons. This decision was a terrible demon for me. This is the last time I will defend my decision. I feel, I did, what "I" had to do.

"let's hammer away at the board. I think they will reconsider if enough pressure is applied."
I disagree, I do not think you understand who is running our club.
