I read today of the death of Martin Stern, Jr. Among his many Vegas projects were: much of the Sahara hotel, the Sands tower, the Mint tower, the International (now Hilton), the MGM Grand (now Bally's), and remodels of the Riviera and El Rancho hotels. He was 84.
