From my short visit to each, I saw a lot of differences between the two clubs. There were NO favorable video poker schedules at Speakeasy. Siena has some of the best you will find in Reno, including 10/7 Double Bonus at several denominations.
I realize that the profit for a casino these days is slots not VP, but I think Siena is in it for the long haul based on their statements in the press in the last few days.
Speaking of video poker, I saw something new at Peppermill. A new IGT Multi-game/multi-denomination machine that gives you advice on what cards to hold! The advice was based on a rather simplified strategy, and a pro-level player would frequently want to modifiy it, but it does allow you to play faster as the advice is correct about half the time and for those, you don't have to push the select buttons.
