Last weekend (at a garage sale in Las Vegas) I picked up a home game set of chips. The set had equal amounts of all five denominations (40 each) and came in a leatherette carrying case, that had room for two decks of cards. (The cards that were included were two decks of cancelled Arizona Charlie's cards.)
The outer rings are soft (rubbery) plastic and the CIC's are not real coins, but seem to be thin gauge tin or low grade aluminum. The case, although custom for this set of chips, is void of any manufacturing markings.
Any ideas as to origin?
Thanks, Jim Follis
