I had a lady named Sheri who I worked with in 1992. I don't remember her last name. She was from Sacramento and had worked at Harrahs Reno. She told me she left Harrahs to deal at the Cabin In The Sky. She was maybe 50 years old, very attractive, and had a pretty good memory. I spent months asking her about her time in Northern Nevada. She said she only lasted a couple of weeks at the Cabin In The Sky. There was no business, and she had no souvenirs from there. I did get other items from her including a couple dealer aprons. Of course I asked her about cards and chips. She thought the Cabin cards were generic and has no memory of the chips. Could they have opened without a license? I guess back then anything is possible. The stories of her time in Reno and Tahoe were great. I lost track of her in about 2007. I think her Mom died and she went back to California.
