I loved the Las Vegas Club . I hit more royal flushes there than anywhere else . Always got free rooms whenever we wanted them...both before, and after they had a player tracking system. We stayed in suites a couple of times...including on our wedding night . Vern Sturgel (sp?), Freddy Matouk, and Emily Fitzsimmons always took care of us .

I wish I had one of the old room number plaques...especially 1133 (my favorite room), or 1135...we discovered that the rooms from the 9th floor on up, numbers 33 and 35 (which were at the end of the hall) had great views of the town. At night you could see the strip, including the Stardust, as I recall, back in the day. It's been a lot of years, but that's how I remember it. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable...with wonderful shower heads!

The last time we stayed there it was pretty pathetic...and not so clean. But up until that time, I have wonderful memories of the place, and I miss it.
