SLS is actually a chain, based in Florida, I believe. Stands for “Service, Luxury, Style”.There are SLS hotels in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and other cities. I actually like the way the SLS turned out. I think their Mediterranean restaurant, ‘Cleo’, is one of the best restaurants on the Strip, and the bars have some unique design elements. I have gotten a free room there a couple of times, and the rooms really aren’t bad, especially considering the minuscule rates they advertise. I agree their chips are terrible, and the gambling there is horrible, but I am still rooting for this property to make it.
