I also spoke (emailed) with Duke after the incident at Gila River. He cashed in chips at the first two he visited and the incident described, confiscating the chips, happened at the third one. Even worse is that it was his wife at the cage not Duke. Absolutely disgusting the way she was treated by Gila River. I've attempted to cash in thousands of dollars worth of obsolete chips. Some successful (4 Queens for example took anything they ever issued) and some refused but never did a casino confiscate the chips.
