Anytime there is additional information we are always finding errors from the past. I know for a fact some attributions were done for foniancial gain. There was one Galveston guy who ruined many chips by tagging a bogus ID to it. I’ve spent decades unraveling some of them. Unfortunately, some chips can’t be disproved because you can’t prove a negative.

All we can do is improve our information as they come to light.
