I was going to post this in the Club Board, but looked and saw there wasn't very much going on there, so decided to post here.

First off....I have been flying under the radar a bit while researching California chips. My apologies for not being a contributing part of this Club. (On the ChipBoard)
I am very disturbed to find many California ID's to be wrong. (Actually very disappointed) I feel as some members (more than 1) have blatantly made up ID's for their unknown chips. I'm sure that California is NOT the only place people have made up ID's for chips....but I don't have any positive info on any other State/Country.
My question is.......for those who have made up ID's( yes...made them up!!) ...isn't there some code of ethics that we all follow that prohibits this type of behavior??
I'm not going to name any names...because I don't want to "Slander" anyone. Then I would be the one kicked out of the Club??
I just think that it really sucks....because these ID's were made up so long ago...they are legend(or Law). It doesn't matter that I can post/prove ID's are wrong.....nobody really cares.
I will post a picture of 20+chips in my reply of chips that have the wrong ID.
