I used to do that, too! In Manteo, NC, there's about a buck in small change buried near Flossie Price's house. In Bay City, TX there's a concrete bell in a leather bag that has a few 1960 uncirculated cents. They were in a baby food jar then covered with the concrete. Then it was thrown in a creek! There was an ant nest near the Colorado river near Matagorda, Texas that had and uncirculated roll of cents (sealed in foil). And near an old church on a fenced off trace road near Craig Springs, MS, there's a jar in a coffee can buried that has about $20 in coins!

We moved a lot when I was a kid. I wonder how many of these were ever found?
