Pretty cool story in regards to the theater I grew up with.
The Fowler Theatre (Fowler, Indiana)

Opened in the 40s, closed in my early teens. Reopened in late 90s and closed again in 2001.
Building was set for demolition when preservation committee was formed to once again save this landmark. This process took several years but once again reopened in 2015 and was awarded the 2016 Cook Cup for outstanding renovation.
It biggest claim to fame that it was one of only 6 theaters across the country to premier the movie Gone with the Wind
