Nice to see you guys made out ok.I rode it here and I live just across from the mall.I managed pretty good w/o a generator..
I have a Stanley power station that would charge my battery digital tv,cell phone and notepad (Used the Verizon cell phone as a hotspot to the internet,comcast was down of course)
A few times a day I would charge the power station in the car for an hour or so at a time so I could divide the hours up by radio,tv,internet to keep me occupied..I did this from Sunday until Wed and used just over a quarter tank of gas.We flooded here in Fountain Lakes,could not get out.
Also a battery fan was great to cool off a bit to sleep.
And sternos/canned heat to make coffee.

Highly recommend you getting a battery tv as you know Comcast can go out any time in regular storms and I use it a few times a year.
