News reports are that St. Maarten was a direct hit with 185 MPH winds from hurricane Irma and is in ruins. Americans are being flown off the island by the U.S. military. A collector I know, who frequently goes to the island, he has a time share there, was told not to return for at least a year. I am assuming that all the casinos on the island are closed. Reminds of the 2010 earthquake that closed all the casinos in Haiti.
