Bob Maheu once told me that Gene Maday called him after he received a cease & desist letter from Caesars. Bob and Gene had previously done a business deal involving the marina at Lake Mead and they stayed in touch. Anyway, as a favor to Gene, Bob called someone he knew at Caesars (I can't remember who) and asked them to back down. They did. I asked him how he convinced them and he said that he shamed them into it when he kept asking, "Do you really think someone is going to get that little hole in the wall mixed up with your Palace?" LOL
