Although I've always wondered why the U.S. never put its most famous scientists, writers, and artists on banknotes like all other civilized places on earth. We have enough to choose from: Edison, Bell, Twain, Remington, Hemingway . . . women? If you don't like Rachel Jackson, how about Rachel Carson?
