By the way, color of these chips is unlikely to wear off as the clay material is a solid color throughout. The color of a chip could change if exposed to light or chemicals that bleach the color of the material on the surface. The color of the printing on a paper or plastic inlay could also be changed under these conditions.

I agree with David's opinion that this chip is unlikely to sell for more than a few hundred to a knowledgeable collector as it shows significant damage from the chip as manufactured. It is definitely a scarce chip though and someone who has to have it to fill a hole in his collection could definitely pay several thousand at auction.
