A very unique event. Have yet to see more than a few minutes of a local downpour (few hundred acres) and have never seen a valley wide soft, two-three day rain as we had in New England. However, our rains come hard and fast creating flash floods and very slippery streets as the accumulated oils rise to the surface. Non-Vegans, take note. But we'll take our rains to your tornados.
