Doug, I agree with your observation. But rather than searching recent Ebay sales, I just wanted a current TCR or Campiglia value so that I could share these relatively contemporary "estimates" with my non-chip collecting friends.

These chips come from couple, the husband of which I have known since elementary school. They were the group that sang the original "Happy Days" song for the TV show. They were also a traveling group of entertainers that played the casinos from which their chips came. In a conversation, it was recalled that they had kept a chip from each of the casinos, and they were retrieved and sent to me for valuation, since I told them they might be worth more than memories.
