Well, I've gone through more than 50 boxes of chips so far. As of 0100, I have counted near 4000. He still has over 1000 more for me.
A couple of the boxes have names on them so I now have a couple of leads. The problem is, the chips are not in their original boxes. The good news is the names may be local residents. I now have homework.
There are a few hotstamps I'm not familiar with but considering the amount of them and the family he told me he purchased them from, they were most likely used in illegal games.
I have not received the rest of the chips and have only gone through what I have so far, just to get a sense of what there is. Many of the boxes were falling apart, others were completely fallen apart and still others rampant with mold. I had to throw away quite a few of them.
As I mentioned, he asked me to keep a wrap in things for a bit and I agreed (the dude gave me 4000 chips! I wasn't going to say no, right?), so I cannot give specifics yet.
Here's a picture of what I've gone through so far.
