(NCR) Thirty years ago today...

President Reagan made his "Mr. Gorbachev, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL" speech, making the case for removing a wall built by the East to keep their citizens from crossing into West Germany. If they attempted to cross, they were shot by East German guards.

Earlier this year, President Trump insisted that there be a wall built between USA and Mexico, preferably paid for by Mexico to keep their citizens from crossing into the USA. If they attempt to cross, they will be shot by US guards. Currently, they are given a free trip back to their Mexican home if they attempt to cross without documentation.

Which Western President do you think had it right?

How different is the World 30 years later?

USA Govt. now supports its citizens who choose not to work but no longer has provision for Mexican farm labor to legally accept work that US citizens won't do. What's wrong with this picture?
