You probably forget more knowledge about how chips are made, before your second cup of tea, than I would ever know. It just seems to me that what ever texture is on the chip is a result of the mold that formed it and not because of anything done later. That's just me talking. I would definitely like to see a really new looking X mold of some other club chips to make a comparison.
