I used to go to flea markets all the time, and I bought most things gambling-related including postcards (have lots to sell including souvenir folders of postcards from Reno, Las Vegas, Monte Carlo, etc.).
I got a good chuckle out of this, hope you do too. A big ephemera dealer who was always at the old Atlantique City Antique Shows at Atlantic City NJ named himself "Dr. Nostalgia." He sold paper items, including post cards. I bought the one pictured below, and when I got home I read the message on the back of the postcard. Happens the postcard had been mailed to Dr Nostalgia from an irate customer who complained about not receiving his order! "Hope you are not dead or something!" Read it. I thought it was cool, strange and blase' of him to sell the card rather than tear it up. Funny?
