From last weekend, at the Santa Cruz Swap Meet. Not a lot of gambling-related stuff there. Cherries, oranges, apples. But at the fruit seller's booth!
One Silver Legacy token, and I was walking out when I paused at the very first vendor's table after the ticket-taker. And spottedethe $500 Sahara Tahoe Orange in a Lucite paperweight which I got for the same as a small bag of cherries would have cost. Discovered the new Artichoke Joe's rack later in the day, too.
This weekend - both Pasadena and Ventura Swap Meets were going, I chose Pasadena, closer to home and I've had luck there finding chips and tokens. Today did not disappoint.
No, J. Eric isn't losing his mind (yet). The blank dice mold chips are stand-ins for La Fuerza Cardroom up north (red) and the ill-fated Palomar down south which used a blue dice chip as its drop chip for a time. "You had to be there to appreciate it."
