Here’s something I had to remedy… I’d been to Las Vegas about 5 times and never been downtown! I’d seen it from the parking lot of Gamblers General Store but always headed the car back to the Strip. Like those big squishy chairs at Bellagio, the dueling pianos at Times Square Bar, Raffles, and playing blackjack under the big screen at MGM (Massive Green Mother). Sunday after the big show, I parked at Binions and set off looking for chips and slot cards and whatever downtown had. It’s got low ceilings. If you want to go to Las Vegas and have a “little” time, go downtown! All the people were nice and the places clean (mostly) but considering the prices and lack of strip resort eye-candy, it is no wonder the Indian places are killing downtown. Guess I might return but only to chase down chips.
