Bruno's Country Club owner, Bruno Selmi has died at age 94. I remember smuggling chips off his 21 game and
getting scolded for making a bet over the $5 limit. One time he gave me a complete set of his roulette chips. They
had a bulldog and B.S. on them. According to the article in the Reno paper he started out dealing 21 at a club in
Empire, a small town down the road. Unfortunately, there were no other details. It also stated that after his original
place burned down it was enlarged when it was rebuilt. I remember it being replaced exactly as it was. Anyone know?
I think he operated out of the old Nite Cap club while the place was being rebuilt. You can read the article at rgj.com.
