We need 1 more person to make this work. We only have 9 people signed up right now and if we can get 10 we will still run the contest where each person would get 2 horses (giving you a chance to win twice instead of just once). Even if you're already in the contest I would be ok with giving someone a second entry. Sign up fast as the race is only hours away!!!
UPDATE: So far we only have 9 people signed up meaning we need 11 more by tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully we can get enough people to participate or else we won't be able to do the contest. Enter now so we can fill up the slots!!!!
SO it's that time of year again and the Kentucky Derby is on Saturday. I have run this contest before and it is always a lot of fun so hopefully this year will be the same. 20 horses are supposed to run in race and I will take one entry and my kids (Carliana and Coltin) will also share an entry meaning we need 18 more people to participate.
How the contest will work:
- 20 people will participate and I will draw horses to see who you get on Saturday morning - results will be posted before the race starts
- Each participant will be putting up 3 chips 1 - $1, 1 - $2.50, and 1- $5 preferably Nevada chips but other chips from around the country will work also. Chips must be in like new / new condition and not be extremely common chips that are only worth a buck or two.
- You will be responsible for shipping up to 3 separate packages to the winners of the contest - whoevers horse comes in 1st gets the $5 chips, 2nd place gets the $2.50 chips, and 3rd place gets the $1 chips
- You will be responsible for shipping the chips to the winners in a timely fashion
- If they end up running the race with less than 20 horses either the person assigned to that horse or the last people to enter the contest will be removed depending on the situation. I reserve all rights to make any changes necessary to the contest.
- If you want to enter the contest, respond to this post
P.S. I'm not sure why they have 22 horses listed here but I'm pretty sure only 20 are running so we will figure it out before the race starts.
