INTRO CHIPS & COTY'S 
Good Day Chippers, today is the Introductory Page of the Page of the Day, will all of the pages being explained. Also, the Chip of the Year, individually available and as a complete set. Along with these items are my regular appearing items; the feature chip, a Guest Harvest story, a wanted chip, my Harvest Story, "A Pair to Draw To", Chip Tips, the Post Card of the day, and the Set of the day. THE STATE OF THE PAGE OF DAY
I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT THE POD IN THE NEW FORMAT OF 4-8 PAGES PER DISPLAY, CONTINUES TO BE WORKING OUT QUITE WELL. A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE ON THE NEXT CYCLE WHICH WILL COMMENCE THIS LATE APRIL. THE SET OF THE DAY HAS GROWN TO ABOUT 118 SETS VARYING FROM 2 CHIP TO 12 CHIP IN SIZE. I HAVE ADDED IN SOME FANTASY SETS TO SPICE IT UP. THE FANTASY SETS ARE PRICED BELOW MY ORIGINAL COST; AND DID YOU KNOW THAT ALL OF THE SETS ARE ON A REVERSE AUCTION? I WENT BACK TO “THE ORIGINAL SET OF THE DAY” THE WAY I STARTED MY CHIP BOARD DISPLAYS WAY BACK WHEN.
A WHILE BACK I MERGED A COUPLE OF TITLES TO GIVE THAT PARTICULAR POD SOME EXTRA PAGES AND MORE CLOUT. ONE WAS THE ODD DENOMINATIONS; IT WILL BE ADDED TO THE MISCELLANOUS ITEMS. THE OTHER WAS THE COTY’s; THEY WILL BE ADDED TO THE INTRODUCTION PAGE TO GIVE YOU SOME “EYE CANDY” WHILE LOOKING AT ON THE FIRST DISPLAY DAY OF EVERY NEW CYCLE OF “THE PAGES OF THE DAY”. IN THE NEAR FUTURE I WILL BE REDUCING THE NUMBER OF POD’S BECAUSE THE NUMBER PAGES ARE SHRINKING. YEAH I KNOW, IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THERE IS MUCH “SHRINKAGE” LOL.
THE GUEST HARVEST STORY AUTHORS, AND MY HARVEST STORIES HAVE CONTINUED TO BE POPULAR. THE GUEST HARVEST STORIES HAVE INCREASED TO APPROXIMATELY 40. THE FEATURE CHIP, THE WANTED CHIP, THE CHIP TIP “A PAIR TO DRAW TO” AND THE SET OF THE DAY WILL BE CONTINUED IN EACH POD.
THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE POD IS THE POST CARD. EACH POD A POST CARD IS OFFERED FOR YOUR PERUSAL. I HAVE INCREASED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THESE TO OVER 100. SOME ARE FOR SALE.

AFTER LEAVING THE NEW ORLEANS AREA ON A TRIP TO HOUSTON, WE STOPPED AT A “REAL” RIVERBOAT CASINO CALLED THE AMELIA BELLE. IT IS LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE OFF SHORE OIL RIG (LAY DOWN) INDUSTRY. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MANY RIGGERS LOST THEIR ENTIRE PAYCHECK TO THIS LITTLE RIVER BOAT.
IT HAD BEEN RAINING SINCE WE LEFT HARVEY, LA AND WHEN WE FINALLY BOARDED THE AMELIA BELLE IT WAS STILL RAINING. THERE WAS NOT A SOUL IN THE CASINO, EXCEPT MAYBE 2 OTHER PEOPLE THAT WERE NOT EMPLOYEES, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A LITTLE BEFORE 12 NOON IT STILL FELT A LITTLE EEIRE. AFTER INQUIRING AT THE CAGE; IF I COULD BUY CHIPS AND WAS REFUSED, I WAS THEN TOLD TO BUY THEM FROM THE BLACK JACK TABLE. THINGS WERE STARTING TO FEEL A LITTLE SHAKY, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE HOUSE THE BODY LANGUAGE OF THE 1 DEALER, AND THE PIT BOSS READING HIS MORNINGS PAPER APPEARED TO SAY LEAVE US ALONE. BUT, AS YOU KNOW ALL MASTER HARVESTERS WITH THE RED BELTS DO NOT EVER GIVE UP. I TALKED TO NANCY TOLD HER WHAT I WANTED IN CASE I STRUCK OUT OR ONLY GOT A FEW. THAT WAS A GOOD THING TO DO, BECAUSE AFTER I DID MY HARVEST OF WHAT I NEEDED, I MADE A CALL TO A FELLOW CHIPPER, AND ASKED IF HE WANT A SMALL SUPPLY, HE DID AND NANCY DID THE FOLLOW UP BUY. WE LEFT HAPPY BUT STILL GOT WET ON THE WAY TO THE CAR. THIS TIME I DID NOT BUY ENOUGH…REGGIE

I am always trying to put things together that have some semblance of balance. Of course, that will always be in the eye of the beholder. Starting 2016, I have listed everything I have (all of my excel inventory +) on the collection library trader/for sale. Of course, many of you did not know that my previous listings were items I had more than one of. Now, everything; even the ones I only have 1 (one) of will be listed. Please know; none of these are from my personal collection. One more important point while searching for chips on my CL site; there are two settings for viewing my chips. One is a simply a long, long list of pictures and descriptions. Two is by Country/City/State/Casino alphabetical. You may request to change this at any time. And when you do I will leave it on that setting for a couple of days, or whatever you request within reason, before I change to help another chipper’s request.

This will cause more work for me, and along with that will be the possibility of more errors, and chances for items to slip through the cracks. So, I apologize in advance for the times I do not clear off a listing after it has been sold. Also, on the other side of coin, there will be times I will find a very nice item that I had forgot to put on the “Collection Library” when I first got it. And now I am listing it just when you started looking for it.
*On the subject of trading, please know: When you spot something on my CL Trader/For Sale list that you really want, I need to get something that I can put into my collection, also; or it will be a cash sale. Because, to take in trade something I will in turn have to sell, (that is already in my collection) requires me to work twice as hard to complete the original transaction.
The total amount of chips listed on this site as traders and for sale are approximately 4500. This of course will fluctuate up and down, however this number should afford most collectors looking for a piece to put in their collection at least an opportunity to see a few chips not often offered.
