"Plastic " chips from a guy who had a warehouse of old artifacts. I don't believe it is the same guy selling on eBay. I try to contact that guy while there and got no response. The chips were not display. I had to ask if he had any chips. He had an assistant helping him look and they dug out this box that had 100+/- chips in them. The 2 orange Vina Del Mar (20) were in there mixed in. The outside and inside of the box were very dusty.
The guy said they were from a Jewish Social Club. I showed him the Circulo Israeita chip image and he said that it was a different place.
Now he could of told me that info just to get me to buy the chips. The communication was a little broken between us. They could be generic, but they do resemble other chips in size, shape, and design of the numbers are a match. So....I just wonder if the star on the back is "Jewish". I do not wish to offend anyone with my ignorance ... anyone with a information or an opinion please let the rest of us know. I'm still leaning toward these being a cheap home set...until other info is confirmed, but bought them because they resemble the Lutaro chips.
