Are you saying that one ivory opera pass sold in the $3000 range?

If so, too much for me. Now ivory prices were much higher 10 years ago. I know many deep pocket collectors have shied away from bidding in a western auction as they are afraid that ivory will become illegal even to own.

I saw one opera pass sell on eBay for $400 two or so years ago. Mine went sold for $360. By the way, in my auction there was only one other bidder. Without him I pay $99.
