3 years ago, on my flight back to HNL after the June convention, I heard the Los Angeles AA gate announcer say that they were over booked and need seats.
I went to the gate announcer and gave up my seat. She gave me a 800 dollar voucher. Awesome!
And a night at the Holiday Inn with 16 dollars for food.
The following day I was back at the same gate, when the AA announcer again said they were over booked. I jumped up off my lounge seat, ran as fast as an Old Fart Grumpy Chip Retired Senior can to the gate. This time she gave me a thousand dollar AA voucher! Double Awesome!!
The next day, I was trying for the Hat Trick, but they were not over booked. Bummer!
It's great being retired and carefree!
