The legalities probably won't even figure into this. It's a public relations nightmare. Law firms that live for this sort of thing have to be pulling out all of the stops to get to this guy and represent him. This will be great to follow and see how it plays out. And one person(with some common sense) working for the airline, could have settled it easily.
