Younger generations got to experience him as Mr. Potato Head in one of the best choices for a character's voice. I enjoyed him in Casino, one of the best movies ever.

I was watching him as the guest host on the Tonight Show when he broke Johnny's cigarette box - and I was watching when Johnny learned of it and interrupted shooting of CPO Sharkey. It was comedic brilliance at its finest.
