I wanted to thank the club for sending me to the yard sales today. I was sitting on about $8000 in checks and it was time to go visit the clubs bank and make a deposit. The bad news is the club does not pay me mileage and it is about 20 miles round trip so I try to hit the yard sales whenever I go. Today I hit the mini-jackpot. The two necklaces are 10K gold and weigh almost 3 grams so they are worth about $50. The big stone is a CZ but the heart necklace has lots of small diamonds in it. The watch is a nice Seiko women's watch which I think will go for around $30 at the mall. I paid $10 for the watch and necklaces and they were not out on display. I only got to see them after asking if they had any jewelry to sell .
The bracelet is gold plated sterling silver with lots of CZ's. The coin is part of a large man's ring. It is 1/10 oz. pure gold and the rest of the ring is another 10 grams of 14K gold. I looked and looked at it carefully because I had bought another similar ring last year and the coin was marked "copy". This one isn't. When I asked the lady how much she wanted for it "Two". I asked "Two hundred"? "No $2" she said. SOLD!!! The ring was not marked so that was another reason I didn't want to pay a lot but it tested at 14K gold. Total gold value in it? Around $350.
Sorry about the bad scan but it is the best I could get.
