G'Evening All

As a last comment on my luck in this incident. Preaching to the choir here, I know, But if a stray eBayer wanders in here...

That the chip got through in an envelope torn in half, is 97% luck and 3% TAPING the [wrapped] chip to the invoice, so it won't slide around in the envelope. Bubble mailers are not magical, you still have to properly wrap and secure the chip inside the mailer. I have had folks send me chips in a bubble mailer, naked and sliding around inside. Proper packaging, even in an improper, i.e. #10 envelope, goes a long way toward the chip's continued good health during it's journey, and arrival at it's new home.
