Is that the original MGM on the chip?

I got my MGM Derby chip in Nov 1997.
I called the MGM trying to get information on it. Talked to the Race book manager.

About 2 months later he called me and said some high roller was in there trying to sell 3 of the MGM chips/tokens in your post. I called the guy. I had never heard of them. The guy said he had no idea where he got them. Yea right! He wanted big money. I passed. Two weeks later, I found out the guy had sold them to a dealer at the Arizona Charlies show. The dealer told me what he paid and I thought it was high, but do not remember exactly what it was.
