I have seen quite a few chips found along the Mississippi Gulf Coast that were displaced by Hurricanes Camille and Katrina that spent a couple days soaking up that Gulf Of Mexico salt water. The darker side is the one that's exposed to the air and the other lays flat in darkness -- both have been soaked with salt -- but the sunny side up one then becomes darker. A good example is the Copa Casino, Gulfport, MS that had a spill of chips after one hurricane. It's the same H&C and insert mold as the Paradise, Bahamas casino. I rest my case.
