Smitty, a piece of advice......You can scan a chip and ask value and grade, but even saying the word "Graded....from a 3 party source" is grounds for no one on this board to talk to you.
Chip collecting is about holding the real chip in you hand and not the plastic slab that would surround the chip.
Put the chip in a "air-tite" that's perfectly fine.....have a chip graded and try to resell it to a club member....becomes very hard to do (they will break it out of the slab as fast as it went into the slab).
Also, there are no third party grading companies that can really be trusted with a "grade" since 99% of them have only handled under a handful of examples of the chip (at tops) so they would not really know the "true" grade of the chip......just saying.
