Enjoyed the pictures of Needles, its a shame that it is a dying town since it was at one point a major Rail Road town, it still has a huge rail yard for making up and breaking down of trains. The building you show in your first and last pictures of Needles was originally used to house rail road folks and was just being starting to be renovated the last time I was in Needles staying at the Needles RV Park and Marina. My sister-in-law stayed there in January and told me so many stores we shopped at had closed because folks shopped in Az. now.
It was a place to use as a base camp to explore all the other places within a 100 mile radius. What I remember best was the Old Route 66 road into Oatman Az. to see the Donkeys roaming the town streets and then continuing east on 66, great road trip.Walt
