Never knew so many Indians lived back in those hills, didja? It's a well-kept secret but Pauma has the best prices on the buffet, if such is your liking and you ever get back to the area. Think it's $12.99 or something for dinner, club membership. Okay, they don't have oysters on the half shell or a demitasse of artichoke or whatever the hoity-toity Las Vegas casinos offer for $35 and up, but enough variety and plenty of it. Sometimes I can score on a carved piece of real turkey. Not that pressed white-meat mystery loaf, but a bird with real legs and wings attached. Also scored one of my biggest slot machine wins at Pauma, $600, and I almost fell over. Never duplicated the feat, though.
