In honor of Joe passing I would like to nominate him as "Honorary Vice President for 2017" he meant a lot to this hobby and our Club. I first encountered Joe on this board a few years back when he offered to obtain some chips for me when the D opened, they were in the mail before I had sent off a check to pay for them. That was Joe helping a fellow Club member. When I first meet him at a Convention to thank him we found out that we had some other things in common, both had started out working in the Fire Service, he as an 18 year old assigned to an ambulance for the Chicago Fire Department and of course visiting the midnight market in Bangkok. I last talked with him at the Gold Coast Meeting last month, rest in peace my friend I will miss not seeing you next month.
