We went to Barona casino today outside of San Diego. It was a nice place. You get good bang for your buck. We played for about 3 hours (all low stakes). A casino manager walks up to my mother in laws slot machine and asked for her card. He then upgraded her to a gold card (seemed random?) and comped her a dinner. ($50 off )We went to the steak house down stairs. We had a great meal. The server asked to see our players cards and comped another $21 off. The meal was less than 1/2 price!!
I have to say....in a new age of casinos with resort fees and parking fees and all this other fee,fee,fee.....it was really refreshing to see a casino actually give back something....when they really didn't have to. The casino was really clean and almost smoke free.(There is not much worst for a non smoker than to walk out of a casino and smelt like you fought a Forrest fire!!)
Barona impressed me....
