Got the Free slot play card... Went to the Pai Gow table first. Surprise, won the first hand at $15. Bigger surprise, they refused to pay me!
Something about Tiger 9 that I'd never heard of. If the dealer's hand is Pai Gowed, and they have a 9 to put in the two card hand, then all bets are a push. Say What! That sounds like 3 card monte on the street corner. Oh, I've got a blue Chicago so I win. I asked them to show me where that rule is posted. Nowhere, it's just part of the game. How the hell am I supposed to know that? Well there is the Tiger 9 bet on the layout just above the Fortune bet. Fine, Wonderful. Where does it say that a side bet circle on the layout changes the play of the game? You've got a computer screen with the Fortune Bonus Payouts listed, along with the Progressive payouts, but no mention of the payout for the Tiger 9 bet. "oh, it's 30 to 1" How would I know that? Pit boss went to her podium and got a little rules card to give to me. A bit late now. Title of the game on the computer is Progressive Pai Gow Poker. It does not say Tiger 9 Pai Gow poker. Nowhere is there any mention of it. The dealer did not inform me of it. PAY MY WINNING HAND! "Sorry I can't, that's the way the game is played" says the pit boss, after admitting that there must be 50 different versions of Pai Gow Poker,(really?), and that it's the players responsibility to ask if they don't understand the game. The dealer is telling me that it's no different than 3 card poker where if the dealer doesn't have an opening hand there are no payoffs. Ok but it says that right on the layout. This whole Tiger 9 thing is just a way for the casino to weasel out of paying winning hands when the dealer has a cruddy hand. It's lower and more underhanded than going from 3 to 2 to 6 to 5 for a blackjack. I grabbed my chips and ran out of this clip joint. So, no TITO from here. I wouldn't give these corksoakers 99cents of my money to get one!

NANCY AND I WERE DRIVING FROM SPOKANE, WA AND HEADING TOWARDS GLACIER NATIONAL PARK.
WHILE DRIVING SLOWLY THROUGH THIS SMALL TOWN ABIDING BY ALL SPEED LIMIT SIGNS, ALSO LOOKING FOR SIGNS LIKE “LIVE POKER ACTION”. IT WAS HERE IN LIBBY WE SPOTTED THE SIGN LIVE POKER ACTION AND ABOVE THAT SIGN WAS A LARGE SIGN THAT READ CROSSCUT CASINO. OF COURSE, IT WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE WE SPOTTED IT. WE WHIPPED A U-TURN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND PULLED IN TO THE FRONT PARKING LOT. IT WAS ABOUT NOON SO I DID NOT EXPECT TOO MUCH.
THERE WAS A YOUNG MAN BEHIND THE BAR, AND I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE POKER GAME, AND WHEN HE HAD LIVE ACTION POKER. HE SAID IT USUALLY IS ONLY ON THE WEEKENDS AND; OF COURSE, IT WAS MID WEEK AT THIS TIME. THE YOUNG MAN SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND I ASK IF THEY USED CHIPS, AND IF THEY DID COULD I SEE THEM AND POSSIBLY BUY A FEW. BEAR IN MIND ALL THIS WAS HAPPENING WHILE NANCY WAS STILL SITTING IN THE CAR. HE SAID, I WILL HAVE TO ASK SOMEONE ABOUT SHOWING THE CHIPS BEFORE I CAN DO IT. I GUESSED IT WAS THE OWNER, AND WHEN HE CAME BACK HE SAID I HAD TO ASK MY DAD.
SO HE SAID LET’S GO OVER TO THE POKER ROOM, IT WAS BARELY BIG ENOUGH FOR THE TABLE AND CHAIRS AND IT WAS LOCKED. HE UNLOCKED AND LET US IN AND ABOUT THAT TIME NANCY DECIDED TO COME IN AND LOOK AROUND, I SAID I WILL JUST BE A MINUTE, SHE HAD ALREADY SPOTTED A MACHINE SHE LIKED AND WHAT I SAID FELL ON DEAF EARS. WE WENT IN AND HE SHOWED ME 3 CHIPS 50c, $1 & $5. HE SAID I CAN SELL ONLY A FEW OF EACH. I SAID HOW ABOUT 5 50c, 10 $1 AND 2 $5 CHIPS, THAT SEEMS REASONABLE AND I PAID HIM, LEFT HIM A FEW BUCKS FOR HIS TROUBLE, BOUGHT A COLD DRINK TO GO AND GATHERED NANCY AND WE WERE ON THE ROAD AGAIN. NO I DID NOT GET ENOUGH OF THESE PRETTY CHIPS.

I am always trying to put things together that have some semblance of balance. Of course, that will always be in the eye of the beholder. Some of these may attract you the collector a little or a lot, no matter which way it attracts, please know I am always trying to help you out, with items you want at price that is fair. For now, I am going to do them every week, but as an unscheduled surprise feature…Thanks for looking. Reggie
If you have some ideas about compatible pairs please send them in to me. If it is possible and I happen to have the two, they will be put on the docket...reg

Starting 2016, I have listed everything I have (all of my excel inventory +) on the collection library trader/for sale. Of course, many of you did not know that my previous listings were items I had more than one of. Now, everything; even the ones I only have 1 (one) of will be listed. Please know; none of these are from my personal collection. One more important point while searching for chips on my CL site; there are two settings for viewing my chips. One is a simply a long, long list of pictures and descriptions. Two is by Country/City/State/Casino alphabetical. You may request to change this at any time. And when you do I will leave it on that setting for a couple of days, or whatever you request within reason, before I change to help another chipper’s request.
Follow This Collection Library Link To Approximately +/- 4500 Trader Chips >>>: http://www.collectionlibrary.com/Index.asp?EvApp=mls.5117&sPageName=MyTraders
This will cause more work for me, and along with that will be the possibility of more errors, and chances for items to slip through the cracks. So, I apologize in advance for the times I do not clear off a listing after it has been sold. Also, on the other side of coin, there will be times I will find a very nice item that I had forgot to put on the “Collection Library” when I first got it. And now I am listing it just when you started looking for it.
*On the subject of trading, please know: When you spot something on my CL Trader/For Sale list that you really want, I need to get something that I can put into my collection, also; or it will be a cash sale. Because, to take in trade something I will in turn have to sell, (that is already in my collection) requires me to work twice as hard to complete the original transaction.
The total amount of chips listed on this site as traders and for sale are approximately 4500. This of course will fluctuate up and down, however this number should afford most collectors looking for a piece to put in their collection at least an opportunity to see a few chips not often offered.
Thanks for taking your time to read over this post, Reggie
