no suggestion on specific printers, but check out replacement cartridges before you commit. Apparently some printers don't have affordable generic replacements (both my Brother lasers do).

Also, something I learned a couple days ago after owning one printer for 4 years: it can print on both sides of the page. I sure miss the good old days when a comprehensive manual came with all hardware and software!
